Our story

How the studiocame about

Lumière opened in 2014, after years of working in salons that ran on volume. We wanted the opposite: one client per stylist, and appointments booked long enough to finish without rushing.

In practice that means we turn bookings away when the diary is full, we will talk you out of a service that would wreck your hair, and we cut for how it behaves at home rather than how it looks in the chair.
