FAQ
Questions aboutbooking and pricing
01What does "from" mean on these prices?
Every price here is a starting point. The final cost depends on your hair length, thickness and how long the service takes. We confirm the exact figure at your consultation, before any work begins.
02Do I need a patch test before colour?
Yes, at least 48 hours before your first colour appointment with us, and again if you have not been in for six months. It takes two minutes and you can drop in any time we are open.
03What is the difference between the three levels?
Experience, not quality. Every stylist here is fully qualified and works to the same standards. Senior stylists and directors have more years behind the chair, which is worth paying for on complex colour work.
04How far in advance should I book?
Two to three weeks for a cut, three to four for colour, and longer around December. If you need something sooner, call us, as we hold slots back for cancellations.
05What happens if I need to cancel?
Let us know at least 24 hours ahead and there is no charge. Inside 24 hours we ask for 50% of the service, as the slot is difficult to fill at short notice.
